I am currently living in Tokyo. We're heading to Minamiuonuma over Silver Week for a bike race.

Deep in the throes of AI psychosis

Work is very much AI right now. I'm spending most of my time figuring out how to work with it, what it changes, and what to build with it. I'm even writing this update with AI.

Trying to find time to ride my bike

Work has been getting in the way of cycling lately, but race season is here again. I have a race about every other weekend for the next eight weeks.

Spending time with my family

My wife is preparing for the JLPT N3. In my free time, I'm hanging out with her, playing Infinity Nikki with my girls, or playing Star Wars Zero Company by myself.

I am:

• ...coming off Christopher Tyerman's massive The World of the Crusades and a rewatch of Kingdom of Heaven with my wife.
• ...reading Chris Kempshall's Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, an in-universe history of the Empire.
• ...racing bikes about every other weekend.
